Digital Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Digital Project Manager to help manage platform roadmaps, customer products, and growth strategies. The candidate can work in a fast-paced environment and will own client projects with the goal of delivering projects on time and meeting and/or exceeding client satisfaction expectations. The candidate is responsible for communicating clearly and concisely to our clients and internal personnel, managing timelines, and ensuring that all work is completed throughout the project implementation cycle according to schedule.

The Digital Project Manager is experienced in the Software Development Lifecycle process. The successful candidate takes initiative, can manage multiple projects at a time, can think through technical options. The candidate has an understanding of agile project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and the flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams to deliver balanced and integrated digital solutions.

The role will include working with the company founder, web and mobile engineers, and clients. We are looking for a pro-active, energetic, empathetic, collaborative, focused, and highly organized person that has outstanding communications skills. It is helpful if the candidate has experience successfully bringing digital products to market.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on product requirements with team and customers
  • Work with designers, developers, and quality engineers to ship successful products
  • Acting as quality assurance manager for the client
  • Work with engineering and growth teams
  • Employ Agile methodology for product management and lifecycles
  • Take ideas from conception to release for both mobile and web products
  • Communicate with customer entities on behalf of the company in a recurring cadence and on an emergent basis to make sure that adequate communication is maintained
  • Manage product development within defined budgets and milestone dates
  • Gathering user requirements from clients and stakeholders
  • Facilitate and manage the product lifecycle and continuously iterate to improve the product
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, articulate our goals and evaluate the impact of our product
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Deal with clients and customers to explain what the company does, what ethics the company is bound by, and why the client should choose this company over any competitors
  • Makes sure customers receive assistance in a helpful, efficient manner
  • Cooperating with business partners, making sure staff capacity can handle project volume, and manage any service issues
  • Present project releases/deliverables to clients
  • Oversee projects to ensure that they stay on-course, including that the schedule is followed, the budget is met, and other duties associated with the end goals of projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines and complete tasks in an accurate timely manner
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytic capabilities, and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Agile Scrum experience a plus
  • Advanced skill and proficiency using Google Docs, Google Sheets, Jira, and Slack
  • Demonstrated experience in the agile software development process
  • Strong technical capabilities
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to client needs
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision and requirements definition
  • Well versed in understanding and interpreting the customer needs
  • Must be proficient at working with a number of technologies and at keeping up with the ever-changing field of information technology
